Sanlight has developed its latest product line, the EVO, which achieves an efficiency of over 3 µmol/J thanks to in-house research labs and newly gained technologies. The goal was to increase yield per time and area. The light spectrum has been developed, tested, and perfected in in-house research labs over a long period. The result is a broadband light spectrum with a balanced Far Red to Red ratio, which is particularly beneficial for light-hungry plants.
Another important aspect of developing the Sanlight EVO was ensuring even illumination on the growing area. The secondary optics protect the LED chips and provide a uniform light distribution. This way, the lamp remains powerful even after many years.
Sanlight has been using only the best LED chips for years. The Far Red components are provided by Osram High Power LED chips, while the white light components come from patented Seoul Semiconductors WICOP chips.
