Flushing and Substrate Maintenance Solution FlashClean by Terra Aquatica

The growth-related formation of fertilizer residues is a natural process that occurs in every system. The result is salt deposits that clog the drippers, leave unsightly traces on the soil or substrate surface, and ultimately cause not only stress but also root damage. The highly concentrated fertilizers available today and the high EC values in many systems can also lead to nutrient deficiency due to overfertilization and silently impair growth.

FlashClean provides solutions to these and other problems:

• Accumulations of fertilizer salts are dissolved.
• The nutrient balance is restored.
• Nutrient deficiencies caused by overfertilization are eliminated.
• Microorganisms are nourished, and soil and coconut fiber are regenerated.
• Final growth is particularly supported in combination with FinalPart.

The specialized formula of FlashClean, which dissolves mineral salt, breaks the nutrient bonds between minerals and substrate, which are then easily flushed out. And plants can optimally utilize the remaining nutrients in the crucial week before harvest.

Unlike other commercially available flushes or finishing treatments, FlashClean is not an acid or enzyme cleaner, does not deplete magnesium or other mineral additives in the system, and is therefore extremely versatile in use: with FlashClean, you can create a clean, regenerated starting point for your system and plants at any stage of development.

No matter where or how you grow plants – indoors or outdoors, in soil or without, in hydroponics, pots, or beds – FlashClean is absolutely uncomplicated: simply mix it in pH-regulated water and apply.

Application of FlashClean

In hydroponic recirculating systems

• For restart and refreshment before changing fertilizers (including FinalPart): add 1.5 to 3 ml of FlashClean per liter to the existing nutrient solution and let it circulate for 24 hours before preparing a new nutrient solution. Choose the lower dosage for young or sensitive plants and the higher dosage for established plants or those nearing harvest.
• After a burnout or overfertilization: drain the old nutrient solution, add 1.5 to 3 ml of FlashClean per liter of pH-adjusted water (you don't need to fill the tank completely, just enough to operate the system). Let it run for 24 hours, empty the tank, and refill it with fresh nutrient solution. Choose the lower dosage for young or sensitive plants and the higher dosage for established plants.
• As a final flush (after FinalPart): drain the old nutrient solution, add 1.5 to 3 ml of FlashClean per liter of pH-adjusted water (you don't need to fill the tank completely, just enough to operate the system). Let it run for the last two days before harvest to increase the sugar content of your harvest, instead of losing aroma and active substances through days of water flushing.

In substrate and soilless mixtures

• For restart and refreshment before changing fertilizers or after overfertilization: every two weeks (or as needed in case of nutrient blockage), fill a watering can with fresh pH-adjusted water and add 1.5 to 3 ml of FlashClean per liter. Soak the pot until the liquid drains from the bottom. With the next watering, you can resume your usual nutrient supply. Choose the lower dosage for young or sensitive plants and the higher dosage for established plants.
• As a final flush/after FinalPart: use 3 ml of FlashClean per liter of water instead of fertilizer during the last two days before harvest to increase the sugar content of your harvest, instead of losing aroma and active substances through days of water flushing.

Note: FlashClean can be used in any growth or flowering stage but not more than once every two weeks.

• FlashClean brings out the full potential of FinalPart. When nitrogen or other salts have been flushed out of the substrate, FinalPart efficiently mobilizes nitrates and improves the taste of the end product.
