pH-Minus - a unique powdered pH correction agent

The only pH correction agent available in powdered form on the market is unique in the industry!

The pH-Down powder, chemically inactive in its original state, only exhibits its acidifying effect after mixing with water. pH correction is one of the main tasks of indoor gardening. With the pH properly adjusted, minerals are available to plants and chelates remain stable.

In addition to its primary role in pH control, pH-Down powder (highly concentrated) is also used for cleaning and disinfecting pipes and other system components, as a foliar spray (diluted) for removing pesticide residues, and as a booster that provides plants with the following nutrients:

• Nitrates in a form that supports growth without affecting flowering,
• Phosphates to enhance flowering, strengthen roots, promote lush foliage, and support even growth.

Nothing benefits plants as much as an optimal pH value. A high pH promotes cation uptake, while a low pH promotes anion uptake. The set value is always a compromise between two extremes. Usually, a range of 5.5 to 6.5 is recommended. We recommend a value in the lower range of 5.5 to a maximum of 6.2.

Application of pH-Down powder

Caution: Always wear suitable protective clothing when handling strong acids/bases. To measure the pH value, use the pH Test Kit.

• Lowering the pH of nutrient solutions: Add 1g to 5 to 6 liters of water and mix well. Measure the pH value and adjust if necessary using the appropriate amount of pH-Down or fresh water.
• Cleaning pipes and system components: Use 1g per liter of water, let the system run overnight, and then thoroughly rinse with water.
• As a leaf cleaner: Use 1g for 10 liters of water.
