pH Minus - Liquid pH Correction Agent
Terra Aquatica pH-Down Regulator does more than just being a simple acid: It makes an important contribution to the nutrient balance of the solution.
For the production of Terra Aquatica pH-, we combine the strengths of three acids, which are usually used individually in hydroponics, leading to disadvantages. We create a balanced mixture that only has advantages.
Phosphoric and nitric acid take on the main task in Terra Aquatica pH-Down Regulator of initially regulating the pH value. Their ratio is adjusted in such a way that it has no impact on the N/K ratio during the growth and flowering phases, and no residues are formed on the tank surface, which happens when using phosphoric acid alone in hard water. Then, biological citric acid takes over control. Thanks to its buffering effect, it compensates for pH fluctuations that occur later, keeps the nutrient solution stable, and compensates for excess calcium in areas with hard water.
Nothing benefits plants as much as an optimal pH value. A high pH promotes cation uptake, a low pH promotes anion uptake: the set value is always a compromise between two extremes. A range of 5.5 to 6.5 is usually recommended. We recommend a value in the lower range of 5.5 to a maximum of 6.2.
Application of pH-Down Regulator
Attention: When handling strong acids/bases, always use appropriate protective clothing. To measure the pH value, use the pH Test Kit.
Add the required amount to the water or nutrient solution. Measure the pH value again and readjust if necessary.
