pH-Plus - Liquid pH Correction Agent

For simultaneous pH regulation and silicon supply.

As absurd as it may sound for gardeners dealing with hard water: For very soft water or water filtered by reverse osmosis devices, pH correction upwards is essential. Terra Aquatica's pH-Up Regulator raises the pH level and serves as a reliable source of silicon supply, which is often lacking in hydroponics due to the poor solubility of silicates. And because silicon contributes significantly to plant health, we enrich our products with it whenever possible.

Nothing benefits plants as much as an optimal pH level. A high pH promotes cation uptake, while a low pH promotes anion uptake: the set value is always a compromise between two extremes. Typically, a range of 5.5 to 6.5 is recommended. We advise aiming for a value in the lower range of 5.5 to no more than 6.2.
