pH-Plus - Liquid pH Correction Agent
For simultaneous pH regulation and supply of silicic acid.
As absurd as it may sound to gardeners who have to deal with hard water, pH correction upwards is essential for very soft water or water filtered through reverse osmosis systems. Terra Aquatica's pH-Up Regulator raises the pH level and is also a reliable source of silicic acid, which is often lacking in hydroponics because silicates are barely soluble. And because silicic acid makes a significant contribution to plant health, we enrich our products with it whenever possible.
Nothing benefits plants as much as an optimal pH level. A high pH promotes cation uptake, while a low pH promotes anion uptake. The set value is always a compromise between two extremes. Usually, a range of 5.5 to 6.5 is recommended. We recommend a value in the lower range of 5.5 to a maximum of 6.2.
Application of pH-Up Regulator
Caution: Always wear suitable protective clothing when handling strong acids/bases. To measure the pH level, use the pH Test Kit.
Add the required amount to the water or nutrient solution. Measure the pH level again and readjust if necessary.
