The electrode of the EC Meter E50 Pro is designed to be easily replaced when it becomes worn out or its accuracy is compromised by dirt or damage.

Another important feature of the E50 Pro is that the electrode is waterproof according to IP67 standard. This means it is protected from water ingress into the device, making it suitable for use in damp environments or underwater.

Instructions for Replacing the EC Electrode

Loosen the electrode by turning the thread of the sealing ring at the bottom of the EC Meter.
Gently remove the defective/old electrode.
Carefully insert the new electrode, ensuring that the contact points connect well and neither the meter nor the electrode are damaged.
Ensure the rubber gasket is properly seated.
Tighten the thread on the sealing ring securely.
Calibrate the meter according to the instructions in this manual.
The meter is now ready for use.
