pH-Plus - Liquid pH Correction Agent
For simultaneous pH regulation and silicon supply.
As absurd as it may sound for gardeners who have to deal with hard water: With very soft water or water filtered through reverse osmosis, pH correction upwards is essential. Terra Aquatica's pH-Up Regulator raises the pH level and is also a reliable source of silicon supply, which is often lacking in hydroponics due to the low solubility of silicates. And because silicon contributes significantly to the health of plants, we enrich our products with it whenever possible.
Nothing benefits plants as much as an optimal pH level. A high pH promotes cation uptake, while a low pH promotes anion uptake: the set value is always a compromise between two extremes. A range of 5.5 to 6.5 is usually recommended. We advise a value in the lower range of 5.5 to a maximum of 6.2.
Application of pH-Up Regulator
Caution: Always wear appropriate protective clothing when handling strong acids/bases. Use the pH Test Kit to measure the pH level.
Add the required amount to the water or nutrient solution. Measure the pH level again and adjust if necessary.
